Contract

We collect and process this information to ensure we can provide you with our service.

We process this information on the basis there is a contract between us, or that you have requested we use the information before we enter into a legal contract.

Additionally, we may aggregate this information in a general way and use it to provide class information, for example to monitor our performance with respect to a particular service we provide. If we use it for this purpose, you as an individual will not be personally identifiable.

Information relating to your method of payment

We store some non-identifiable information about your debit and/or credit card payment method only on our mobile application if you so wish. If you do choose to save your card payment method, the card number is tokenised (represented by a random string of characters) and encrypted meaning only our PCI compliant payment processor can process a payment and only if it comes via our systems.

We do not store information about your credit and/or debit card for payments processed through our website.

We store this payment information at your request in order to make repeat purchasing of goods and services easier next time you use our mobile application.

We take the following measures to protect your payment information:

  • We keep your payment information encrypted on our servers
  • We do not keep all your payment information so as:
    • To prevent the possibility of our duplicating a transaction without a new instruction from you;
    • To prevent any else carrying out a transaction without your consent
  • Access to your payment is restricted to ONLY authorised staff.
  • If we ask you questions about your payment information, we will only ask and/or show the last four digits of the credit/debit card number, so that you can identify the means of payment to which we refer.

Disclosure of your personal information to third parties or any other organisations

The personal information that we collect when you use any of our services is confidential. We do not or intend to share or sell any of your information.

The only exceptions are as follows:

  • If required by law to do so
  • If required by any court, or any other applicable regulatory, compliance, governmental or law enforcement agency

Cookies

EVO Taxis website uses temporary cookies, which are only used during the booking process. A cookie is a small piece of information sent by a web server to store on a web browser so it can later be read back from that browser. This is useful for having the browser remember some specific information

Keeping your information safe and secure

All the information you give us is protected by a secure server. The secure server software SSL (Secure Socket Layers) encrypts all information you enter before it is sent to us. The information is only de-encrypted when it reaches our server. You can tell our site is secure as a small locked padlock will appear in the bottom left of your browser to show that you can safely send credit card details through our site. Another indicator is that our secure pages will not display a security alert message. We also have a dedicated Firewall security software in place to protect our internal information from the Internet.

We also set the same type of encryption for our mobile application.

How long do we keep your personal information

Unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, we will only hold your personal information on our systems for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or until you request it is deleted.

If you have registered for any of our services, and do not use them for reasonable time we may contact you to see if you still require our services, if this the case we shall offer you the choice to exercise your right to deletion.
